New Book: How Dickinson’s Domestic Staff Influenced Her

murrayScheduled for publication in July, from the University of New Hampshire Press, is Aife Murray’s Maid As Muse: How Servants Changed Emily Dickinson’s Life and Language.

Murray is a professor in Stanford University’s Institute For Research On Women and Gender, and she has been a scholar in residence at the Dickinson Museum in Amherst.
