Tacoma‘s performance-poetry scene, we might add, seems alive, well, and far from soft, considering how vibrant the group, Speak Your Soul,  (which convenes at the Vinum Cafe and Lounge) is, and considering that Antonio Edwards (author and performer of “Hilltopia” and other poems) is Tacoma’s new Poet Laureate.
