Professor Joshi Offers Course on “Bollywood”

bollywoodUnder the aegis of English 471: Special Topics in Writing, Rhetoric, and Culture, Professor Priti Joshi offered a course on “Bollywood” cinema for the first time at Puget Sound in Spring 2009.  As Professor Joshi explains in her syllabus, “Bollywood” used to refer mainly to films made in Bombay (now Mombai) but now refers more broadly to films produced in India.  Here is a link to Professor Joshi’s syllabus:
