mescheryAs the National Basketball Association playoffs proceed toward a championship series, you might be surprised to know that a former NBA player, Tom Meschery, is also an accomplished poet.  Meschery played in the NBA for a decade, including for teams in Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Seattle. Over the Rim, McCall, 1970

Caught in the Pivot: a Diary of a Rookie Coach in the Exploding World of Pro Basketball. Dell, 1973.
