Printed Word as Visual Art: Exhibit In Collins Library

Starting today and running through April 20, there will be a solo exhibit of fine printing by Chandler O’Leary in Collins Library.  The exhibit is called “To the Letter,” and it is free and open to public.

The opening reception is on Thurs., April 2, from 4:30-7 p.m., and there is an “Artist Talk” on Sun., April 5, 1-1:45 p.m.

From the press-release: Chandler O’Leary is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), with year in Rome under her belt. Her work includes artist books, illustration, graphic design, textiles, letterpress printing, and drawing, to name a few. Her books and prints are collected and exhibited internationally. Chandler lives and works in Tacoma, Washington and runs the Anagram Press. She is a board member of the Book Arts Guild of Seattle and is an active member of the local arts community.”
