UPS Alum Publishes Two-Volume Work

civilrights

Gladys Knight, a Communication Studies major who was known to take a few English classes during her four years at Puget Sound, has just published a major two-volume work, Icons of African American Protest. The impressive reference work was just published by Greenwood Press in New Hampshire, so feel free to check out the work on the Greenwood site, amazon.com, and elsewhere.  Congratulations to Gladys, whom we hope to coax on campus soon and who lives and works in the area. Well done, Gladys!
