sum09Attention all creative types!!

Have you heard of the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, MA?  It’s a beautiful town located at the extreme tip of Cape Cod.  They offer summer workshops for fiction writers, poets, and playwrights as well as visual artists.  Some workshops last an entire week while others are just a weekend, and they go from June through August.  They also offer scholarships.  The deadlines aren’t until April, but you may want to begin thinking about your creative sample now.  It’s a fantastic opportunity to work on your craft, meet some other young writers, as well as rub shoulders with the literary elite.  Workshop instructors include Rafael Campo, Jayne Anne Philips, Thomas Sayers Ellis, Carl Phillips, and Maxine Kumin.
