Manuscript-Museum in Tacoma

A lesser known museum in Tacoma is Karpele’s Manuscript Museum. Tacoma is one of about a dozen cities that has a Karpele’s Museum. (The Karpele estate apparently owns an almost incredible number of manuscripts, letters, and autographs.) The museum in Tacoma is located near Wright Park, not far from the conservatory, and the current featured exhibit concerns women’s writing. Here’s a link:

Puget Sound’s library is planning to organize some cooperative exhibits with the museum.
