“A San Francisco transplant to the Northwest who has been performing on the West Coast for years, Johnnie recently performed as The Angel in the theater fusion performance at Tacoma Little Theater titled “Projectiles” and was at the recent Black Liberation celebration in Seattle in tandem with Speak Your Soul Co-hosts Vanilla Soul and 6 Deep along with previous feature Charhys Bailey. Johnnie is at work on both a book and a solo theater piece around his unique journey as an African American voice with an extraordinary perspective on the many parameters of human identity.”
